Artist Spotlight: Kehina

UK Alternative R&B Singer/Songwriter Kehina headed to the RAP studio to meet the team and grab some of her favourite pieces. Living in the studio 24/7 means tracksuits are an essential, making Real Artistic People Kehina's go-to brand, not only are the designs of the highest quality, but made with the artist in mind. 

Born and raised in London, of Algerian, Sudanese and Turkish descent, Kehina is truly a child of the world. She uses these influences to break through musical borders and genres and define new ones on her own terms.



Growing up music was always playing, so much so that her first words were actually first notes. Her love of Rnb and Soul was passed down to her by her father, through artists like Lauryn Hill, Marvin Gaye, Corinne Bailey Rae and Gil Scott-Heron. On her mother’s side, a taste for Blues and 70’s French pop by artists Francoise Hardy and Joe Dassin was equally instilled. This eclectic musical upbringing carved out Kehina’s unique sound.
